About five years ago, we began developing a completely unique and contemporary way of editing a wedding film. Instead of taking the usual approach of separating everything into chapters (like Original Series) we wanted to create a style that felt more like a Hollywood film... complete with storytelling and all. But we wanted to do it without changing the way we shoot (unobtrusive / non-directorial). It took a lot of fine tuning, but we created a style that revolutionized the way that people perceive a wedding video, and turned all the days events into a non-chronological, non-chapter based short film (about 20-25 minutes). Before we even begin one of these edits, we sit down and watch all the footage and listen to all the audio. The next step is to storyboard how the edit will be put together through music and audio bites in order to tell the authentic story of the couple. It's a complicated and very time consuming process but it makes each film unique and entertaining / emotional to watch. There are several feature films in the viewing lounge and many more on our blog. These packages also include a full cut of the Ceremony and all the Speeches as well as the ability to obtain all the raw footage and edited Quicktime Movies for archival purposes at no extra charge.... just bring us a hard drive and we'll transfer them for you.
